Qi Gong

Qi Gong refers to the cultivation of energy according to Traditional Chinese Medicine. It is considered an internal art, including meditation and breath work, as well as physical shaking, stretching, postures, and touch. There are many different kinds of Qi Gong, including the internal martial art known as Tai Chi.

Qi Gong practice with Ilona supports connection, balance and adaptability. Classes introduce and explore essential Taoist concepts including:

  • inner smile
  • microcosmic orbit
  • law of five dynamic agents (elements)
  • meridians and accupressure points
  • six healing sounds
